Holistic Health Remedy has been developed to bring calm organization, clear education, and an experienced nursing perspective into the home-recovery setting.
Discharge does not always mean you feel ready to manage everything on your own. The first days after a procedure may involve new routines, mobility limitations, medication schedules, wound or drain instructions, changes in appetite or urination, and questions that did not seem important until you were home.
Holistic Health Remedy is designed to help bridge that transition with one-on-one, nurse-led recovery support that follows your discharge instructions and works alongside your surgeon and other healthcare professionals.
Support is individualized to your procedure, discharge plan, recovery needs, and what is appropriate within the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, positioning, transfers, walking, and following postoperative activity or weight-bearing precautions.
Review of wound-care instructions, dressing changes when appropriate, observation of the surgical site, supply organization, and recognition of changes that should be reported.
Assistance with emptying drains, measuring and documenting output, observing color and appearance, maintaining a drain log, and watching for concerns with tubing, suction, leakage, or the insertion area.
Blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation may be monitored when appropriate and considered together with how you are feeling.
Help reviewing discharge medication instructions, organizing a schedule, tracking doses, and identifying questions that should be directed to your pharmacist or prescriber.
Attention to symptoms such as nausea, hydration problems, urination changes, bladder fullness, worsening discomfort, dizziness, weakness, bowel changes, drainage changes, fever, or other unexpected recovery concerns.
Compassionate, nurse-led support designed around your recovery needs. Choose the visit duration that best fits your situation.
Visit pricing is provided following an initial inquiry and review of your requested services.
Services are private pay. Accepted payment methods and any applicable processing fees will be disclosed in your written quote before booking.
Recovery after surgery affects more than the surgical site. An in-home nursing visit can help you pay attention to changes that may need to be discussed with your surgical team or another healthcare professional.
Examples include persistent nausea or vomiting, difficulty maintaining hydration, unusual weakness or dizziness, changes in bowel function, increasing pain, shortness of breath, new swelling, fever or chills, poor medication tolerance, and changes that do not fit the recovery pattern your surgical team described.
Difficulty urinating can occur after some procedures or anesthesia. Support may include asking about your ability to urinate, frequency and amount, lower-abdominal pressure or fullness, discomfort, and changes from your normal pattern.
Holistic Health Remedy does not perform bladder scanning or urinary catheterization as part of this service. Findings that raise concern for urinary retention or another complication would be directed to the appropriate medical provider or level of care.
Clear boundaries matter. This service does not independently diagnose a complication, prescribe medication, change a treatment plan, or provide emergency medical care.
Postoperative recovery can generate a surprising amount of information. Visits can help bring medications, symptoms, vital signs, drain output, wound observations, questions, appointments, and discharge instructions into one organized recovery record.
That organization can make it easier for you and your caregivers to communicate clearly with your surgeon and other members of your healthcare team.
Family members often become caregivers overnight after surgery. Nurse-led support can reinforce discharge instructions, medication schedules, mobility precautions, dressing and drain routines, what should be recorded, and which changes deserve attention.
The goal is to help both the patient and the people supporting them feel more organized and confident.
Part of good recovery support is recognizing when a concern no longer belongs in routine home recovery. If something changes, the next step may be to contact your surgeon or surgical team, your primary-care provider, another treating healthcare professional, urgent care, or an emergency department depending on the situation and your discharge instructions.
For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

There is no single recovery timeline for every surgery. Your procedure, health, complications, and the demands of your usual activities all affect the plan. Feeling ready for light daily tasks is different from being cleared for driving, lifting, exercise, or work. Ask your surgical team for milestones specific to your procedure and follow their written instructions.
Before surgery, ask your surgical team what help you will need at home and for how long. Arrange a responsible adult when required, organize your written instructions and contact numbers, and prepare an accessible place to rest with essential supplies nearby. Confirm your medication, wound-care, and activity instructions before discharge. Your procedure-specific plan takes priority over general recovery advice.
